Microsoft, KT Partner to Develop AI and Cloud Technologies

South Korean telecom company KT Corp has announced a partnership with US technology giant Microsoft to develop the local artificial intelligence and cloud computing industries.

The two companies will jointly conduct AI and cloud research projects.

Meanwhile, Hitachi and Microsoft have announced a multibillion-dollar collaboration over the next three years to accelerate social innovation with generative AI.

The alliance aims to boost Lumada's growth to $18.9 billion in FY2024 and enhance productivity for Hitachi's 270,000 employees.
