Battery life is expected to be one of the biggest talking points at the launch. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is listed with a 9,000mAh battery, while the Pro Max is expected to pack a 10,000mAh cell. Redmi claims the Pro Max can deliver more than four days of usage on a single charge under light-use conditions.
The two smartphones will use different Qualcomm chipsets. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, while the higher-end Pro Max will use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. This should make performance another key area to watch when Redmi reveals the phones and their India-specific configurations.
Redmi is also highlighting durability with the new Note Pro lineup. The company has confirmed an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance, alongside TÜV SÜD 5-Star Titan Quality certification and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. These features could make durability one of the series' strongest selling points beyond its large batteries.

Alongside its latest smartphones, the company is highlighting SkyNOMAD and its SUV offering, underlining its growing ambitions in smart mobility. The broader presentation reflects Xiaomi’s strategy to connect consumer technology, software and automotive products while building a wider ecosystem in India.
Xiaomi is showcasing its fast-charging technology beyond smartphones with its latest power-bank lineup. The Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W is built for users who need to recharge multiple devices quickly, supporting up to 120W output through one port and 165W when two devices are connected simultaneously.

Some Xiaomi power banks feature a digital display that shows the remaining battery level. This gives users a clearer indication of when the power bank itself needs to be recharged, rather than relying only on traditional indicator lights.

The certification covers water resistance, drop resistance and battery performance, with the phone tested for mechanical stress, water exposure and battery endurance under demanding conditions.

The smartphone also uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, adding another layer of defence against everyday drops, impacts and scratches.

It also gets a 50MP camera with OIS, a 12-bit TrueColour AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and up to 16GB RAM with memory extension. Xiaomi promises 4 years of software updates and 6 years of security updates.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max takes battery capacity even further with a huge 10,000mAh battery. The massive cell is designed to deliver extended usage between charges, making battery endurance one of the phone’s biggest highlights in the new Redmi Note Pro lineup.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is shown delivering 32 hours and 34 minutes in a long battery-life test, compared with 30 hours and 2 minutes for two Samsung Galaxy A57 5G units combined, highlighting Redmi’s major battery endurance advantage.
Wrestler The Great Khali has put the Redmi Note 17 Pro’s durability to the test in a drop-test demonstration. The stunt comes as Redmi highlights the phone’s 3-metre certified drop resistance, reinforced build and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is officially certified for 3-metre drop resistance under SGS testing conditions. The phone combines Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with a reinforced structure designed to reduce damage from accidental impacts.
Redmi is making durability a major selling point for the Note 17 Pro series. Alongside drop protection, the phones feature certified water resistance, while the Pro model also supports underwater photography under specified freshwater conditions.
The smartphone's durability package combines reinforced construction with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Redmi says the device has undergone SGS testing covering drop resistance, bending resistance and crush resistance, positioning durability as a key feature of the Pro series.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is shown in Matcha Green, Secret Sunrise and Stealth Black colour options. The three finishes give the smartphone distinct looks, ranging from a fresh green shade to a premium light-toned finish and a more understated black variant.

Xiaomi is using its India showcase to highlight its wider technology ecosystem, moving beyond smartphones into smart mobility and connected products. Alongside the Redmi Note 17 Pro series, the company is showcasing SkyNOMAD and its SUV portfolio, underlining its ambitions across consumer technology and automotive products.
Xiaomi is expanding its smart-home presence in India with the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6. The purifier is designed for larger homes and combines multi-stage filtration, real-time air-quality monitoring and smart app controls to offer a connected approach to indoor air purification.
Xiaomi is also strengthening its charging accessories portfolio with new power banks. The Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W supports up to 120W output through a single port and 165W dual-port output, while the lineup also includes magnetic and compact models.
Xiaomi is making a bigger move into electric mobility with the SkyNOMAD SUV family. The range is positioned as a spacious and flexible family SUV lineup, built on Xiaomi’s Kunlun technical architecture and using extended-range electric vehicle technology.
The SkyNOMAD lineup consists of four models — N70 Pro, N70 Max, N90 Max and N90 Max Studio. The N70 variants feature five-seat layouts, while the larger N90 models offer seven-seat configurations, giving buyers multiple options across the family SUV range.
Long-distance travel is a major focus of the SkyNOMAD lineup. Xiaomi claims the N90 Max can deliver up to 1,705km of CLTC combined range, while the N70 Max offers up to 1,461km. Both use large batteries alongside Xiaomi’s 1.5T range-extender technology.
The N70 Max gets a 76kWh ternary lithium battery and dual-motor all-wheel drive. Xiaomi claims up to 505km of CLTC electric range and 1,461km combined range. The SUV can reportedly accelerate from 0-100kmph in 5.5 seconds.
Xiaomi is putting flexibility at the centre of the SkyNOMAD’s cabin design. The N70 features a flat floor and sliding second-row seats with up to 600mm of movement, allowing the interior to be configured for face-to-face seating, work or family-focused use.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is designed for homes measuring up to 940 sq ft, based on two air changes per hour. It offers a 443m³/h Particle CADR, while Xiaomi claims it can purify a 108 sq ft room in around 3.5 minutes.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 uses five sensors to monitor PM1, PM2.5, dust, temperature and humidity. Its PM1 sensor is designed to detect ultra-fine particles smaller than 1 micron, while an LCD display provides users with real-time air-quality information.
The purifier uses a five-layer filtration system comprising a primary filter, Xiaomi high-efficiency filter, activated carbon, UV-C treatment and negative ions. Xiaomi claims its high-efficiency filter can remove 99.98% of 0.3μm fine particles under its specified testing conditions.
Xiaomi has added an activated-carbon layer designed to tackle formaldehyde, TVOCs and household odours. The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 offers a claimed 218m³/h Formaldehyde CADR, while Xiaomi says it can achieve up to 98% formaldehyde removal in one hour under tested conditions.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 combines UV-C treatment with negative-ion functionality as part of its air-purification system. Xiaomi says the UV-C technology helps reduce microorganisms and maintain filter cleanliness, while negative ions provide an additional layer of air treatment.
The purifier includes a Sleep Mode for quieter operation during the night. Xiaomi India lists noise levels of 32.1dB(A) in Sleep Mode, while the maximum noise level reaches up to 64dB(A), depending on the operating setting.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 connects with the Xiaomi Home app, allowing users to remotely control the purifier, monitor air quality, schedule operation and check filter life. The device also works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa for voice control.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6’s filter is designed to last for around 12 months, although actual replacement timing can vary based on usage and indoor air conditions. Users can track the filter’s remaining life through the device and connected app.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 adds another dimension to Xiaomi’s connected-device strategy in India. With air-quality monitoring, app-based controls, voice assistants and automated purification, the purifier joins Xiaomi’s expanding smart-home portfolio alongside its smartphones, accessories and mobility products.
Xiaomi’s SkyNOMAD brings a bold SUV design with a large, boxy profile aimed at family-oriented travel. The vehicle features a prominent front fascia, full-width lighting elements, flush door handles, and large multi-spoke wheels, giving it a premium road presence while retaining a practical SUV silhouette.
The SkyNOMAD N90 is designed as a larger family SUV with a seven-seat configuration. Its three-row layout aims to combine passenger capacity with everyday practicality, while the extended-range powertrain supports longer journeys without relying solely on battery charging.
Inside, the SkyNOMAD gets a spacious cabin with premium-style seating, a panoramic glass roof, and a large central infotainment display. The dashboard follows a minimalist design, while the flexible interior layout is intended to accommodate different passenger, work, and relaxation needs.
The SkyNOMAD combines its large SUV proportions with an extended-range electric powertrain, targeting buyers who want electric driving without range anxiety. The lineup includes multiple variants, with Xiaomi claiming up to 1,705km of CLTC combined range for the N90 Max.
