WhatsApp Introduces Username Search Feature

WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to search for other users by their usernames, instead of their phone numbers.

The username feature will be optional and users will be able to choose a unique identifier for themselves, which will be visible on their profile page.

The username feature will enhance the privacy and security of users, as they will not have to share their phone numbers with strangers or unwanted contacts.

The username feature will also make it easier for users to find and connect with their friends and family, as they will not have to remember or save their phone numbers.

The username feature is currently in development and will be available in a future update for Android users, and possibly for iOS users later.
