WhatsApp Enables Multiple Account Support For Android Phones

IndustryTrends

WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has announced a new feature that allows users to link and use multiple accounts on the same Android phone.

Users can link up to four additional devices, including other phones, tablets, web browsers, and desktops, to their primary WhatsApp account.

Each linked device connects to WhatsApp independently, ensuring end-to-end encryption and privacy of messages, media, and calls.

Users can switch between accounts without signing out and pick up their chats where they left off. They can also share their contact information via posters or QR codes.

The feature is currently rolling out to users globally and will be available in the coming weeks. Users can also link their devices using a one-time code instead of scanning a QR code
