Spotify's group listening function now includes shared volume control

IndustryTrends

Spotify seeks to improve its Group Session shared-queue functionality by introducing shared volume control.

A new feature that allows listeners to change the level of a song if they share a suitable speaker with the presenter.

It enables several users to manage the music in real-time and contribute songs.

The new shared volume control functionality is progressively being rolled out to Android and iOS devices worldwide.

It's compatible with Chromecast, Amazon Cast, and the majority of Wi-Fi-enabled speakers, including Sonos and Bose.
