Rename OpenAI to ClosedAI: Elon Musk Demands Sam Altman. Here's Why

IndustryTrends

Elon Musk has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, accusing the AI startup of breaching contractual agreements established during Musk's involvement in 2015.

Musk alleged that they violated the artificial intelligence startup's founding mission by putting profit ahead of benefiting humanity.

Musk posted on X that he would drop the lawsuit if OpenAI agreed to change its name to "'ClosedAI."

Musk emphasized the need for OpenAI to align its name with what he perceives as its true business objectives.

Further, he edited a picture of Sam Altam wearing a guest ID Card with "ClosedAI" written on it along with OpenAI's logo.
