Rabbit's R1 gets smarter with Perplexity AI integration

Rabbit's R1 is a pocket-sized AI gadget that can perform various tasks such as web searches, music streaming, and cab booking.

Perplexity AI is an LLM-powered search startup that can answer complex questions using various AI models such as GPT-4, Claude 2.1, and Gemini.

Rabbit and Perplexity AI announced their partnership on a live Spaces broadcast on microblogging platform X.

The first 100,000 R1 buyers will get one year of Perplexity Pro subscription for free, which costs $200 and offers advanced features such as file upload support and model switching.

The integration will enable the R1 device to provide accurate and updated answers to user queries, and compete with other GenAI search tools such as Google's Bard and Microsoft's Copilot.
