OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Reveals ChatGPT's Vision of 'Magic Intelligence in the Sky'

IndustryTrends

In an interview with the Financial Times, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman made a stunning revelation.

He revealed that the company's most noteworthy innovations, such as ChatGPT or DALL-E, are not truly the company's product.

He further added that they are rather "channels" into a single product that is "magic intelligence in the sky."

At OpenAI's inaugural developer day, claimed the AI firm is working on the next-generation AI model GPT-5, but declined to provide a release date.

Altman also told the Financial Times that the data used to train GPT-5 will be a mix of publicly available online datasets and confidential data from corporations.
