Meta Shuts Down Its Responsible AI Team

IndustryTrends

According to reports, Meta has disbanded its Responsible AI (RAI) division as it devotes more resources to generative artificial intelligence.

The majority of RAI members, according to the report, will join the company's generative AI product team, while some will work on Meta's AI infrastructure.

The firm claims it intends to develop AI ethically on a regular basis, and it even has a website dedicated to the pledge.

In pledge, it describes its "pillars of responsible AI," which include responsibility, transparency, safety, privacy, and more.

According to Jon Carvill, who represents Meta, the business will "continue to prioritise and invest in safe and responsible AI development."
