Launch of FraudGPT Increases Sophisticated Attacks

IndustryTrends

Following in the footsteps of WormGPT, threat actors are promoting FraudGPT, a cybercrime generative AI tool, on dark web markets and Telegram groups.

According to the cybersecurity business, the option has been available since at least July 22, 2023, for a monthly membership fee of US$200.

According to the inventor, the tool may be used to generate harmful code, develop undetectable malware, and uncover leaks and vulnerabilities.

There have been over 3,000 confirmed sales and reviews. The precise large language model (LLM) utilised to construct the system is unknown at this time.

The breakthrough comes as threat actors increasingly rely on the availability of OpenAI ChatGPT-like AI tools to create new adversarial variations.
