iOS Users Can Now Enjoy Chrome with the Bottom Address Bar

IndustryTrends

Google Chrome for iOS has added a new option to move the address bar to the bottom of the screen, making it easier to reach and use.

The feature is similar to the design change that Apple made in Safari last year, which also relocated the address bar to the bottom of the display.

To enable the feature, users can long-press on the address bar and choose "Move to Bottom" or go to Chrome's settings and select "Address Bar".

The feature is optional and disabled by default, and users can switch back to the original layout at any time.

The feature is exclusive to iOS and not available on Android, where Google has previously tested and abandoned a bottom address bar.
