Instagram to Launch Profile Sharing on Stories Feature

Instagram is testing a new feature that will allow users to share another user's profile on their stories, similar to how they can share posts and reels.

The feature will enable users to discover and promote profiles that they find interesting, such as friends, influencers, businesses, or causes.

To share a profile on stories, users will have to tap on the three-dot menu on the profile page and select "Add Profile to Story". They can then customize the story with stickers, text, and filters.

The shared profile will appear as a sticker on the story, with the profile picture, name, and bio. Users who view the story can tap on the sticker to visit the profile and follow it if they want.

The feature is currently in beta testing and will be rolled out to more users in the coming months. It is part of Instagram's efforts to improve its sharing features and enhance user engagement.
