In Less Than 18 Months, According to Bill Gates, AI Will Teach Kids to Read and Write

Bill Gates shared his thoughts on the future of AI and predicted that AIs will "be as good a tutor as any human ever could" in the coming years.

CNBC reported that he said that AI might even be able to teach children how to "read and write" in the next 18 months.

OpenAI's ChatGPT and research's Versifier have grown quickly as of late and can now contend with human-level insight on a few tests.

The billionaire stated that, even though chatbots powered by AI may charge, they will still be more accessible.

Mr. Gates added, "I think we're getting smarter about a set of things, even before this latest advance, and getting out into the field."
