Google's AI Search Results Direct Users to Malicious and Scam Websites

Google's recently launched 'Search Generative Experience' tool, which utilizes AI to provide summarized search results, appears to be promoting dubious websites.

These websites are shown to link users to malware-laden Chrome extensions and frauds such as bogus iPhone giveaways.

According to a recent investigation by Bleeping Computer, some consumers fall for these frauds.

SGE's dubious websites in search results use the .online domain, the same HTML structure, and repeatedly route traffic to the same domains.

If you click on one of these links, you will be forwarded to several websites before arriving at a fraud site.
