Google Rolls Out Smart Search for More Android Devices

IndustryTrends

Smart Search is a new feature by Google that scans your phone's storage to locate ID cards and health and travel documents, organizing them in a dedicated folder for easy access.

Smart Search uses artificial intelligence to identify and categorize your documents, making it easier for you to find them when you need them.

Smart Search also allows you to search for your documents using natural language queries, such as "Show me my passport" or "Where is my vaccination card".

Smart Search was initially available only for Pixel devices, but Google has now started rolling it out more widely to other Android phones through a server-side switch.

Smart Search is part of the Files by Google app, which is a file manager that helps you free up space, find files faster, and share them offline with others.
