Google Puts Gemini AI's Image Creation of People on Hold Due to Inaccuracies

Google is suspending an AI tool that makes photos of individuals due to flaws in certain historical portrayals created by the model, the latest hitch in the Alphabet-owned. 

The company's efforts to catch up with competitors OpenAI and Microsoft (MSFT.O), opens a new tab.

Google began offering picture production using its Gemini AI models earlier this month.

However, in recent days, several social media users have reported that the algorithm delivers historical photographs that are occasionally wrong.

When Google launched its generative AI chatbot Bard a year ago, the firm disclosed incorrect information about images of a planet outside the Earth's solar system
