Google Messages Lets You Edit Your Texts Even After Sending

IndustryTrends

Google Messages is testing a new feature that allows users to edit their texts even after they are sent, as long as they have chat features enabled.

The edit texts feature works for both individual and group chats, and it shows the word "edited" next to the modified message.

The edit texts feature is similar to the one offered by WhatsApp, which also lets users edit their messages within 15 minutes of sending them.

The edit texts feature is currently available only for some beta users of Google Messages, and it is not clear when it will be rolled out to the public.

The edit texts feature is part of Google's efforts to improve its messaging app and compete with other popular platforms like WhatsApp and iMessage.
