Google Introduces a Certificate Programme for Careers in Cybersecurity

Under its ongoing Google Career Certificates project, Google has established a new certification programme.

Information security training will be accessible and affordable through the new Google Cybersecurity Certificate programme.

Identifying and reducing threats, as well as practical expertise with tools like Python, Linux, and SIEM are all included in the training.

Google claimed that the programme provides a chance to connect with a more diversified pool of applicants.

The company also addressed that it includes underrepresented groups like women and people of colour.
