Bill Gates: AI will destroy Amazon and Google

Bill Gates made the forecast on Monday at an AI-focused tech conference in San Francisco.

Gates predicts that an as-yet-undeveloped AI-driven personal assistant would likely replace routine human activities.

This is because the new digital assistants will be so tuned in to consumers' requirements that they will render the internet's present.

According to CNBC, he also stated that in the future, AI-powered humanoid robots would become more inexpensive than human labourers.

Gates has a lot of skin in the AI game because he is Microsoft's single largest individual investment.
