Analog AI Chip That Mimics Human Brain Functionality Launched By IBM

IndustryTrends

IBM, a tech firm, released a brand-new "prototype" of an analog AI chip.

Similar to a human brain, an analog AI chip achieves intricate calculations for a variety of DNN tasks.

As stated by IBM, its latest processor can make AI amazingly effective and less battery-draining.

64 AIMC cores are connected by an on-chip communication network on the fully integrated chip.

Moreover, it implements the extra processing and digital activation tasks needed for each convolutional layer.
