Twitter Implements Mandatory Login for Viewing Tweets, Profiles

IndustryTrends

Twitter has recently implemented a major change that affects how users access tweets & profiles. Let's dive into the details.

Twitter is now requiring users to log in to their accounts to view tweets and profiles of other users.

Non-registered users, who previously had the ability to view tweets and profiles without logging in, will now need to create an account to access tweets and profiles.

The sudden implementation of the move caught Twitter users off guard. But this could be temporary, as suggested by Twitter owner Elon Musk.

Musk called it a “temporary emergency measure,” adding that there was so much data theft happening on the platform.
