They've created a ground-breaking framework that reduces the number of iterative stages required for image production using artificial intelligence to one.

The method accelerates diffusion models, which are the algorithms responsible for translating basic input into detailed pictures, by an amazing 30 times while maintaining quality.

Tianwei Yin and his team created a single-step diffusion model that might considerably improve the capabilities of creative design tools.

Distribution Matching Distillation (DMD), makes use of a teacher-student dynamic to avoid the difficult multi-step refining process.
