Two-wheelers ferrying more than two, including children, will be penalized as the AI cameras to be become operational in Kerala.

A total of 726 AI cameras have been installed on state and national highways in Kerala.

Transport Commissioner S Sreejith said the fines will be imposed on five types of violations.

The fine for more than two persons travelling on a two-wheeler is Rs 2,000.

The Transport Commissioner said it was about time two-wheeler users adopted safe practices on the road.
