A New AI Tool Revolutionizes Prescription Practices for Doctors

A new AI tool created at Oxford University tries to solve both of these challenges.

DrugGPT provides doctors with a safety net when prescribing medications, as well as information that may assist their patients, in understanding why and how to use them.

Doctors and other healthcare professionals who administer medications will be able to obtain an instant second opinion by putting a patient's symptoms into the chatbot. 

Prototype versions provide a list of suggested medications as well as warnings about potential side effects and drug interactions.
